Welcome

I have finally started a blog lol. I have been wanting to start a blog since the new year and it has only been talk. I decided it was time to finally put it into action.

Being a SAHM we only have one income, hubbie works a fulltime job during the week and a part time one on the weekends. Even though he works these 2 jobs money is still very tight.
With the econmics the way it is i know a lot of people are struggling i thought that i would start this bog for a couple reasons:
- for keeping track of my spending and seeing where our money goes
- making a weekly menu to keep from making the $100 dollar stop( this is when you go to a store for a couple items and come out spending a heck of a lot more, lol).
- cooking at home and making my own snacks for the kids lunches is whati know will keep the monthly grocery bill down so i will be sharing some recipies along the way, don't know how many could be seldom but could be every day.
- and lastly for other people who are struggling with finances also.

I sure hope that you can all join me on the new Journey.

Well i went to the bank to withdrawal our weekly budget. A whopping $300 lol. Our budget starts Sundays.
This is the break down, it is in 5 categories
-groceries- $200
-gas/vehicle upkeep - $52.50
-clothing and gifts - $20
-Entertainment/eating out - $15
-Other(includes dental/medications, etc - $12.50
I will be keeping track and will save all receipts. Now lets see if we can get to the end of the week before we get to the end of the money lol.
The other category can also include kids allowances, which right now they don't get but that may change after debt starts to dwindle( and yes the kids are okay with this lol)
